Jake is an ex-skater who despite hanging up his deck still finds that
his look is heavily influenced by the skate world.
With their fusion of comfort and style, skate shoes have been an
important part of his look for the past 10 years with Globe, Circa, Adio and Es
all brands he has worn and loved, and with skate shoes offering the style,
comfort and support he wants in his kicks he doesn’t feel the need to change
his habits now.
The Globe kicks he's carrying above were picked up in a sale 8 months ago and despite
their well-worn condition still serve a valuable purpose as he wears them to
his bar job, which is where he was heading when we met.
His shoe collection is due to be added to soon with 3 pairs of Globe’s
on order, so Jake’s keeping it real and keeping his love for skating
happening…who needs a board anyway?
Before we parted ways I couldn't resist also getting a shot of his amazing tatt too - it has a collection of the names/logos of all the bars he has worked at, pretty neatly done.
