Representing a culture of creativity has made Deus ex Machina (God from the Machine) a brand that transcends many areas. Whether it's to do with customised, hand-made motorcycles, industrial art or fashion their mantra is to look at simplistic authenticity, and their outlook has seen the Sydney based company become a global name in a short space of time.
Their latest endeavour is a collab with Converse offering 2 Deus ex Machina spins on the classic Jack Purcell in their latest First String release.
Last week saw the shoes' launch to a Sydney crowd at the Deus HQ and I was on hand to take a few pics of the shoe and the cool crowd. Ben (2nd pic) is the brand's General Manager and was keen to show off the slick black Johnny Hi, using premium suedes and canvas and an accented tongue.
The burgundy Johnny Ox is the lo shoe in the pair, which also generated more than a few admirers in a pair that will have the sneakerheads revving up to get in on the action as they won't be around for long!
