Last week I caught up with the Michael Corbett, one of the team behind the great charity drive entitled 'In Their Shoes' being put together by Warner Music and Converse in the latest of my own 'In Their Shoes' interviews.
Michael has arranged for a vast array of musical artists to customise pairs of classic Cons All Stars, and each pair will be sold for charity.
To mark the launch of this fantastic cause a party was thrown in Sydney showcasing the shoes and it was pretty amazing seeing all the effort that had gone into each shoe. The US band Fun., Moby, and Bon Iver all produced great shoes (and in Bon's case there was an interesting cheeky twist - see above).
The great news is that all 80 pairs were sold and Warner & Cool Accidents raised over $35,000 for charity. Good work guys!
