Le Coq Sportif Store Preview; London

After shooting a number of great Le Coq Sportif shoe launches in Australia, I was really excited to be invited to shoot the brand's new London flagship store in Covent Garden.
Situated at Seven Dials, the store has a prime location and shows that the brand's 131 year history has no sign of slowing down yet with an impeccably tasteful space that showcases an array of fantastic product.
Split over 2 levels the store showcases fantastic design that allows 2 levels to offer up stylishly displayed product ranging from cycling gear through to apparel and footwear across sports and lifestyle and really does have something for everyone.
Within the store, select features have been designed to illustrate the brand's iconography designed specifically for the store by the Wilson Brothers.
Hanging between floors is a perpetual motion bicycle wheel sculpture that takes direct inspiration from the Le Coq Sportif triangular “chronic” logo and the brands long association with cycling.  The brothers also created the stores cash desk, the two front aspects of which act as a rotating advertising board, with 3 different brand visuals, constantly changing throughout the week.  And subtly situated behind the cash desk is a large wall montage showcasing the brand's rich history across a variety of sports, teams and countries.
All up, a great store, a great retail experience and and another sign that the brand's future is as bright as it's 131 year history.
