Chima Ferguson x Supply for Vans Syndicate; Sydney

A slight delay with this article, but Sydney was rocking when skate superstar Chima Ferguson celebrated the launch of his new Vans Syndicate signature released in collaboration with Sydney boutique Supply Store.
Despite a life that see’s him hopping (or should that be Ollie’ing?) between the US and Australia, Sydney is still very much home for Chima so this shoe has added significance as it’s been made in conjunction with the fantastic Sydney store Supply.
As one of the cities, and the countries leading streetwear boutique’s their reputation is legit, so with this double hitter of a release both the skaters and sneakerheads were out to celebrate a shoe that’s generating a load of interest.
Great shoe, great store, great skater, what else can I say other than – it was a great night!

2013 Round Up; September

September saw some great new product drop and I was invited to shoot some exclusive content to showcase it.
Starting with the Vans x Chima Ferguson signature skate shoe (stills from which went out in August), I was also able to put together the above video.
This was followed by stills shoots for the retro inspired drops of the ASICS GT-Cool pack, and the Puma Trinomic XT-2 Plus.
In both cases they are re-releases of OG shoes from the 90's but they looked as good in 2013 as they did back in the day and in all cases are shoes that I loved.  What a month!

2013 Round Up; August

Skating was the first key trend for August as I was offered the chance to shoot a couple of fascinating sneaker related stories through skate/sneaker collabs.
The first was with Vans ambassador Chima Ferguson for the launch of his new signature shoe, and the 2nd was for Mark 'The Gonz' Gonzales at an exhibition celebrating 15 year relationship with adidas brought the skaters and the party peeps together.
August was also the month my Onitsuka Tiger 'Your Town, Your Tracks' campaign stills dropped. More to come on video content relating to both Chima and the OT campaign soon!
