Mark; Perth

Mark's been watching IDYSM with baited breath fearing he will be lucky last from my first ever Perth season.  Well, you're not Mark, there's something else next week, but let's not worry about that as right now it's your moment in the sun!
Mark works at Foot Locker, but mixes business with pleasure as aside from working for a mainstream store he is an avid collector who also keeps a close on the scenes boutiques for more limited edition releases too.
These Air Max Atmos collabs (similar to Jared's earlier in the week) are again from the Safari pack, and are another example of some serious feet heat coming from Oz's Wild West (and wrist heat too - nice G Shock Mark!).
Mark is keen to wear all shoes, no matter how difficult they are to get or how rare they are - so props to him for his shoes, and his patience, cheers Mark.

Scott; Perth

As the Retail Manager and Buyer at Perth's leading sneaker boutique Highs and Lows Scott plays an integral role in ensuring that the store is at the forefront of the global sneaker scene.

He knows his stuff as you will have seen from the Hypebeast x Reebok Classic HAL video I made recently that features Scott (see here), as he's seen talking about the store's current Reebok collab that saw them take on the mighty Reebok Classic.

He was happy to pose showing another shoe that he's got his fingerprints all over, the 2010 Reebok GL 6000 x HAL collab, a shoe that marked the store's 5th anniversary.

With a respect, appreciation and understanding of the history of sneaker culture Scott is helping to shape the scene's future too - so keep an eye on him and HAL for more exciting collabs in the future.

Hypebeast x Reebok Classic Leather x HAL: Perth

This week kick's off my first ever Perth season on IDYSM.  It's the remotest city in the world, hidden away in Western Australia and surrounded by desert, but despite it's location Perth's sneaker scene is not barren at all.  

To celebrate the 30 year anniversary of the iconic Reebok Classic, Reebok have given 15 key sneaker boutiques around the world the chance to put their spin on the classic shoe.
In this exclusive video I made for Hypebeast x Reebok I had the chance to speak to the team at Highs and Lows, a sneaker boutique from Perth, Australia who reveal their take on the Reebok Classic, explain their inspiration and offer their thanks for being involved with the project.

Le Coq Sportif x Foot Patrol Éclat Launch - Highs and Lows; Perth

Perth - the Wild West of Australia, and a new frontier for me in my quest to check out the street scene in new and exciting locations.  I've a load of exciting content to go through, but in the meantime I was able to check out an exciting drop at Perth's (and one of Australia's) leading shoe boutique Highs and Lows.

The Footpatrol x le coq sportif Éclat “Macaron Edition” is a shoe that's getting a lot of attention around the world, and when HAL got a limited drop the Perth sneaker scene showed up in force to tuck into the tasty Macaron.
