Colette Sneaker Wall; Paris

After meeting Davy yesterday it seemed only fitting while at Colette to check out their world renowned sneaker wall, and I was lucky enough to be given permission to document it's array of classic kicks for IDYSM in the above shots.

It goes without saying that each and every shoe in the store is a work of art in it's own right with premium labels such as Pierre Hardy sitting alongside Nike's superb Python Dover St Market New York capsule collection collab shoe, next to classic Puma's, Reebok Basquiats, and yes, a Colette collab!

Colette's collab's are carefully chosen and usually impeccably delivered, and their newest product is no exception as their Pony capsule collection collab is a sure fire winner.  

Exclusively only available at Colette, the collection features the iconic Pony Topstar in the instantly recognisable Colette sapphire blue colour (Pantone 293 C to be precise).

The hi top comes in blue with a white accent, and the lo in white with a blue accent and both with laces adorned with Colette's trademark double dot/colon logo.

My Little Pony; Sydney

This stylish student caught my eye with his retro Pony kicks.
Pony are the forgotten Brooklyn brand whose shoes can be quite a rare find on the streets these days.  After seemingly disappearing, the company had a relaunch from a new San Diego base in 2008 and are now putting out a number of shoes with a simple retro feel (Foot Locker US stock a wide range of Pony shoes including the great Feed the Cat Mid in various colourways).
This student's shoes were a good example of the brand's new direction with their classic style and simple colouring that worked really well with his style.
