Superstar; Sydney
To many of us, kicks don't come much more iconic than the adidas Superstar. For Asanin (in the above pics), the shoe is an iconic reminder of how he has embraced a whole new fashion culture since moving to Sydney from North Thailand.
He finds the quality of product a lot better in Australia, and with a new approach to style influenced by his new surroundings he has overhauled his wardrobe and given the almighty Superstar the job of carrying his new look.

Columbia; Sydney
It has become apparent to me that many of us sneaker fans are creatures of habit; we find a style that we like and we keep going back to it, and this sneaker lover is no exception.
Originally from Columbia he has been an avid Adidas Superstar wearer for the past 7-8 years, with pairs in countless colourways, and these white 2009 kicks are the latest addition to his collection.
One of the longest running and cult designs around, the Superstar has been in existence since 1969 and has remained at the forefront of street sneaker style.

Making Sweet Music; Sydney
While out purchasing some furniture today, my attention was drawn to a rather eye-catching pair of Air Max Hi's. I wandered over to meet the owner who turned out to be DJ G Wizard, who along with his partner in 'rhyme' DJ Eko (one of Australia's biggest Hip Hop DJ's) run Sotzu recording studios in Pyrmont, Sydney. You can see the guys together in the top pic, the Air Max Hi's were purchased in Hawaii, while DJ Eko's classic Vans are from a store in Sydney.
They were soon joined by a recording artist, the Australian rapper JD from the group Dome who brought an American mate along with him. You can see them both in the 3rd pic down, JD is wearing some Nike Dunk Hi boots, and his mate's classic Adidas Superstars are from a Foot Lockers store in LA.
