Blake; Sydney

Hungover surfer and skater Blake was a man of few words when we met.
I did learn though that he loves Vans, and I also learnt that he loves to carve when he skates, and as a result of this these one month old kicks show just how much effort he puts into his skating.
If he put as much effort into his drinking the night before I reckon he will have had a pretty bad hangover.

Cushe AW12 Preview

Cushe are a new UK brand looking to establish their place on the world shoe stage.  The brand’s owners come from backgrounds in the shoe game, and are bringing their surfy product that’s intended to bring some fun back to the footwear scene to Australia soon.

I was given a preview of the brand’s new 2012 collection and while some of the product could be an acquired taste, there is a pretty comprehensive selection of styles to check out ranging from the cutely packaged flip flops, to surf shoes, and skate style sneakers, all giving you the chance to experience the laid back and ‘Cushe’ way of life.

Waking With The Waves - The Video

The most recent of the I Dig Your Sole Man videos; Waking with the Waves has been receiving great interest which is very reassuring as it highlights quite a departure from the site’s usual urban coverage.

Showcasing Bondi Beach waking up, the chilled reportage video is designed to show the culture of the iconic beach as it awakes each morning.  Focusing on the hive of activity, natural beauty, and fascinating people the video offers a style I will be applying to a range of locations in the future.
