Following the launch of their Puma Social campaign, Puma are giving it's customers the chance to enjoy some mini putt-putt events across Sydney and Melbourne so that you can experience exactly what the “after hours athlete” is all about.

PUMA commissioned three top Australian designers, 'Tin & Ed', 'Rinzen' and 'Darcel Disappoints' to each design a mini putt-putt course and if you're in Sydney or Melbourne you can now head to your local stores to get your game on.  You can find the putt putt courses at;

Puma concept store Chadstone, Melbourne - The Hamburger designed by Rinzen

* The courses are scheduled to be in each store until early Feb.

Puma also have some great sales on which includes discounts on apparel from the Puma Social range itself which has some great t-shirts at cool prices (see above pics).

Holiday Shoes; Sydney

On holiday in Sydney from China, this sneaker lover is wearing her new holiday shoes.  I guess we have all been there - buying a new pair of kicks for our trip overseas - something fun but practical that will cope with long days walking, and even longer evenings propping up a bar in a far off mysterious land (and bar).
These simple Nike's were chosen due to their practical design - they will go with any outfit, and will offer ongoing comfort for lots of walking around Sydney.
The shoes won't win any style awards but she will always remember them as being a part of her fantastic holiday.

Cooking Up Something Hybrid; Sydney

Paulo is an Italian sneaker lover currently spending a year living in Sydney.  He is a chef by trade, and if you'll pardon the pun, he's serving up a tasty course in great sneakers.
He picked up these Air Tech Challenge Hybrids in the US last year and their homage to the colourful stylings of the late 1980/early 1990's Andre Agassi (when he had hair) offer an eye-catching shoe with a great retro feel.
Four different Air Tech Challenge styles were released between 1989 and 1992, and these shoes combine elements of each into 1 classic design into 1 tasty shoe.
Not only has be brought a taste of retro style to Sydney, but Paulo has also bought a taste of his native Italian cuisine as he spends most nights cooking for his hostel.

Ghost of Girlfriend Past; Sydney

This sneaker lover was spotted in the middle of Sydney's QVB shopping complex.  He's a fan of the site, and was very happy to pose with his 6 year old All Stars, a well worn and well loved pair of kicks that have outlived the relationship he had with his ex-girlfriend that bought them for him in London.
Originally from the Philippines, his travels around the world have opened up his taste in sneakers and these shoes have been a timeless classic addition to his wardrobe that can be dusted off for any occasion.

1 Year Anniversary; Candids

Each Friday I try to publish shots showcasing street style in any form.  It's a vague brief and nearly anything goes, and these candid 'reportage' style shots are a really fun element of the site to work on.  To wrap up this week's retrospective of the site's first birthday, here's my pick of my favourite candid shots from the past 12 months.

Have a great weekend, and we'll see you on Monday for some fresh new posts.

1 Year Anniversary; Men

From the colourful to the conservative, classic, contemporary and creative, over the past 12 months it's become pretty clear that regardless of how they're used, sneakers are a hugely integral part of men's contemporary style.
I've showcased my favourite female shots of the site's first year, and now its the guys turn.

1 Year Anniversary; Gen Z

In this 2nd installment of shots reminiscing back on the first year of I Dig Your Sole Man, it's a chance to check out some of the Gen Z'ers who have got an A+ for their style.
It's been assuring to see that sneaker loving is being embraced by the next generation with some gusto and these pint sized pioneers are showing that size isn't important when it comes to making a big statement with your footwear.

1 Year Anniversary; Ladies First

I Dig Your Sole Man turns 1 year old this week!  Whether you were with us from the start, or only recently started walking in our footsteps, a big thanks to all of you.

To celebrate, this week we'll be looking back and reminiscing on some of the best shots and trends of the past 12 months.  I was always told ladies should come first, so that's exactly how we'll start the week by looking at some of the best female finds of the past year.  The ladies were out in force to show that sneakers can be used in a range of looks, from the elegant, to the more robust street look, but regardless of the individual, the girls are showing that sneakers can really make a stylish statement.
