The French brand's chic approach to footwear and apparel has been ever present in their product since being founded in 1882, and in 2014 the brand is looking as good as ever.
Lets start with footwear, an area that the brand has excelled at in 2013 especially with collabs. The Premium shoes all look great, with the first standout being the LCSR 1000 Tonal, which should be a big shoe for the brand in 2014 (see the 2nd & 3rd pics) and the Flash Fresh (4th pic) which will also continue to dazzle with more great colourways.
The brand is also introducing some premium tennis shoes in the form of the Yannick Noah inspired 'Dominator', a shoe that's tipped to do well for the brand in 2014. All of these shoes will be seen in the more select sneaker retailers.
Under this is a shot of the many guises of the iconic Eclat - the more commonly seen shoe that again in 2014 will be out there in an array of accessible colourways.
Fashion-wise the brand's apparel is also worth checking. With a firm nod to the brand's cycling heritage function meets form with some technologically inspired and stylish clothing to suit all occasions - which is 100% waterproof too (something I didn't believe until the LCS team insisted on pouring water on the product to prove it!).
Finally, World Cup fever has reached the brand too, with some great tracksuits and t-shirts featuring mosaic style pastiches of iconic players of the past.
All up, there's no avoiding the fact that Le Coq Sportif will be doing some great things in 2014, and stick around to IDYSM as I hope to bring you some great exclusives from the brand in the coming months!
