Following on from my recent post featuring Mark Judge's own personal tastes in kicks and cars, he was also kind enough to showcase his modelling skills to show off some great new product from 2 brands I love; Bonds and G Star.

He rocked a couple of looks from each brand in the above lookbook style shots and as you can see Bonds are again showing that their range is opening up all the time with an increasing amount of apparel that adds a refined look to casual essentials, while G Star's signature of urban wear with tailored cuts and detailed finishing is again apparent in a range that is far broaden than mere denim wear.

All up, Mark was a fantastic model to showcase some interest product that I urge you to check out.

Behind The Scenes; Harry Kewell for Politix

 

 

 

Here's something of a fashion exclusive for you, as I was recently invited to shoot some behind the scenes shots for popular Australian menswear label Politix. 

It's always great to work with new brands and it's always exciting to see new and exclusive product and the above shots were taken behind the scenes on the latest lookbook shoot promoting the brand's new sports luxe range for Summer called 'Politix Sports', which features great items such as sports coats, fitted tailored polo’s and stretch coloured chinos.

You may recognise the model as brand ambassador and football legend Harry Kewell and as a huge football follower and avid Liverpool fan it was a real honour to meet and shoot him.  In addition to being a huge talent he's also one of the nicest people I've ever met so a big thanks to Harry (for putting up with the gushing fan/shooter), and the brand for inviting me along to cover the shoot.

Gourmet - Dignan

As you may know I've been watching the LA brand Gourmet with interest for some time and my most recent viewing of the brand (see here) when I bumped into Vinnie from Acclaim left something of a lasting impression on me.
He was wearing the 'Dignan' shoe, a style that represents a lot of what Gourmet is about; fusing recognisable sneaker design with a bold twist of untraditional styling.
As something of a concept shoe, the design is inspired by Mark Wahlberg's character from the Scorcese movie 'The Departed'.  At the end of the movie he is seen wearing ER shoe covers over his shoes and voila, the idea for the 'Dignan' was born.
As you can see from the above shots of the shoe in it's new polka dot design, it combines a running shoe aesthetic with a nylon zip up cover, and sure, they're not to everyone's taste (just check out Dignan's on the forums, this shoe generates really mixed views) but I love the fact that Gourmet are going for it and not just playing safe.
The shoes are popping up more and more on the streets so check them out, if you're looking for something different they could be for you!

Rockport AW '12 Menswear

As a name synonymous with supreme comfort and functionality, Rockport is a brand constantly striving to make the perfect shoe.  Now a subsidiary of adidas, Rockport is looking to fuse their industry leading function with some contemporary form, and with it's new Australian AW 12 collection the brand have product that is sure to turn heads from those looking to find style and support in equal measure.
I was able to put these exclusive shots together showcasing the brands new collection, and as you can see, when teamed up with great new denim from Riders by Lee, the Rockport styles ranging from brogues to desert boots, and moccasins to boat shoes make this a brand to look out for this season.

PUMA Social 2012 continues the concept of the brand's After Hours Athlete Campaign.  The idea is that we're all athlete's (even if our only physical exertion is limited to running for the bus), but that hasn't stopped the good folks at Puma from putting together some great product to cater for your needs.

Puma x UNDFTD Snakeskin Collection

  

Iconic culture brand UNDFTD's collab with Puma is celebrating it's first drop of 2012 with the special limited edition UNDFTD x PUMA Clyde Snakeskin pack.

Focused around the classic Clyde and RS silhouettes, the collab see's snakeskin detailing given to each shoe (on the form stripe on the Clyde's and around the cuffs on the RS), with the Clyde available in red, white or black, and the RS in black, or red (as shown above) on a shoot I did last weekend to show off the great product.
