Sony MVR; Music Video Recorder

Through IDYSM I've been lucky to meet and work with some amazing people, and earlier this year when Sony came calling I was delighted to be asked to Direct and shoot a campaign around an exciting new product called the 'MVR'.

Standing for Music Video Recorder, the product is designed to allow musicians to record themselves with optimum audio quality, while at the same time filming themselves with HD video.  Then, you can simply and easily upload your performance to the net and share it with the world.
To highlight the product we shot with 3 Sydney acts and cut it into the below Concept Movie which runs as the product's commercial.
I shot all the stills and Directed this vid (and thanks to the great team involved), and while no sneakers were involved directly in the project itself there was some serious sneaker heat on set from Takeo who works with Sony in Japan (top) in his Midnight Turqouise Liberty x Nike Air Force 1's from the Downtown Pack and Predrag (bottom) in his trusty NB's.

Onitsuka Tiger: 'Your Town Your Tracks'

It's been hectic here at IDYSM HQ lately but I can finally share some of the exciting stuff I've been working on, starting with the Onitsuka Tiger 'My Town, My Tracks' campaign.

You'll be seeing lots of this campaign over the coming months online, in magazines, and in stores, so keep an eye out for the stills and videos showcasing the brand's great new women's and menswear collections.

Everything was shot (and in the case of videos also Directed and Edited) by yours truly and the first images to be rolled out are the above shots of Phoebe and Dean which kickstart the campaign on OT's Facebook page.  Check it out now!
